“Music Saving the Soul from Loneliness”
Almost all cultural events changed their residence and switched to online mode. Due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus, museums, theaters, cinemas, libraries and concert halls closed their doors to visitors and moved into virtual space. There, where cultural life continues to be in full swing. And, deciding not to lag behind, KORYOIN Club held a small “tube” concert of UKBC “Music Saving the Soul from Loneliness” on May 1, 2020 using the ZOOM online platform.
The concert brought together not only guests from different CIS countries, but also musicians from different parts of the world.
The Tashkent group “Cover Stars” was the first to perform. Then, Igor Ten, the winner of many contests, played the saxophone live for the guests.
Daniil Magay, a student at the University of the Academy of Arts in California, played the guitar.
Irina Nam, the head of the MISO dance ensemble, showed and talked about the Korean multi-stringed plucked musical instrument - kayagym, which is already 18 years old. She also sang Ariran, one of Korea’s most popular and famous folk songs. Self-isolation and a pandemic is no reason not to admire the beautiful. This is an occasion to look at the beauty from a different angle.
KORYOIN Club would like to thank all those present at the event and express its gratitude to you. Take care!
