Total, in the countries that are part of the UKBC, as of the time of this writing:

Confirmed cases of coronavirus infection: 1,100,860 people,

Recovered: 816,718 people,

Died: 18,616 people.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused serious social and economic consequences, including the largest global recession since the Great Depression and mass famine, affecting about 265 million people. This has led to the postponement or cancellation of many sporting, religious, political and cultural events, and widespread supply shortages have been exacerbated by panic buying.

In connection with the current situation, the Association of Korean Business Clubs simply could not remain on the sidelines, and for the purpose of mutual support and assistance, it was decided to create an emergency headquarters. The movement was initiated by members of the Bishkek Forum business club following the example of the Koryoin club of entrepreneurs of Koreans of Uzbekistan and quickly grew into the Emergency Situations Center on 07.07.2020. The current president of UKBC, Mr.Kim Alexander, headed the headquarters and took responsibility for its organization and coordination. The headquarters was created on the basis of the initiative participants of the Coordination Council:

- responsible for coordination between clubs (reception, coordination of necessary preparations, tracking delivery), 2 people.

- responsible for logistics, 2 people.

- treasurer of the fund, 1

- audit committee (at least 2 people from different clubs).

Thus, now the headquarters consists of:

1. Leader:

Alexander Kim (Business Club of the Association of Koreans of Kazakhstan)

2. Coordinators:

Vladimir Li (Bishkek Forum),

Yuri Kim (Business Club of the Association of Koreans of Kazakhstan)

3. Logistics:

Howard Sin (Bishkek Forum), Vyacheslav Kim (Korein),

Vitaly Yen (Bishkek Forum)

4. Revision Commission:

Alexander Lim (Korein),

Alexey Lee (KBN)

5. Treasurer:

Alexandra Em (Business Club of the Association of Koreans of Kazakhstan)

Club coordinators (liaising with headquarters by exchanging information on the club's needs and opportunities):

KBN (Koryo Business Network) - Tatiana Pak

Progress Union of Entrepreneurs - Irina Pak

Business Club of the Association of Koreans of Kazakhstan - Sergey Li, Elena Tsoi

Koryoin Club of Entrepreneurs of Koreans of Uzbekistan - Andrey Yugay

Bishkek-Forum Business Club - Vladimir Li

MKBC (Moscow Korean Business Club) - Irina Kim

KIMCHI Business Club - Sergey Lim

KBCU Business Club of the All-Ukrainian Association of Koreans - 0.

Funds were raised for the needs of the headquarters (purchase of medicines, medical equipment and PPE). Everything needed was delivered to needy families who, due to circumstances, could not seek help on their own. Mutual help in such difficult times for all of us is the basis of our existence. Once again, the united spirit of the UKBC members showed their unity, because there is Power in it! And it is impossible not to admire and be proud of this. There is a glimmer of hope in our hearts that we will be able to withstand this test. And at such a moment I would like to wish you and your families only the most important thing at the moment - good health and faith in yourself!

Arystanbaev Daniyar,

Executive Secretary of UKBC
