Online Meeting with Representatives of Business Circles of Yekaterinburg
In the early spring of 2020, a meeting of UKBC members with local representatives of business circles was planned in Yekaterinburg. Due to the pandemic of the COVID-19 virus which covered the entire globe and the temporary closure of flights between the countries, the first meeting was held in an online format.
The event opened with the opening speech of the moderator of the meeting: Kim Victor Erikovich (DC ACK) introduced the president of UKBC and introduced the members of the clubs that are part of the Association of Korean Business Clubs (UKBC) to the meeting.
Yekaterinburgers met with the current president of UKBC - Alexander Eduardovich Kim. The head of the association spoke about the goals and objectives of UKBC, shared plans for 2020 and made a presentation. After the UKBC solemn anthem, their bright and informative presentations of the clubs were held by: Arthur Pak-Vartanyan - Business Club “KORYOIN”, Konstantin Kim - KIMCHI Business Club and Tatyana Pak - Koryo Business Networks. The meeting ended with the Question-Answer rubric.
The online meeting was very cosy, warm and homely. I am sure that each participant in the meeting felt this synergy of the UKBC and the unity kore-saram. Very soon we will gather again as a growing large family of our association – just a little is left! Despite the fact that now we are separated by hundreds and thousands of kilometres, with each of our meetings - no matter whether online or offline - we draw closer to each other, and the spirit of UKBC is stronger in us!
Daniyar Arystanbayev,
Executive Secretary of UKBC
