The second business forum of the new generation of Koreans in St. Petersburg

On April 20-21, the Second Business Forum of a new generation of Koreans was held in the city on the Neva river in the Leningrad Center. More than 250 entrepreneurs from more than 10 countries of the world gathered at this site. The main participants are UKBC entrepreneurs. For already a year and a half this organization has been developing in the CIS, and since the recent period, a business club has also appeared in the Republic of Korea. Today, more than 500,000 of our compatriots work and live in their ethnic homeland, and this number is increasing every year.

It is gratifying that for the first time, Koreans from China participate in this forum. Also, it is not the first time that businessmen from Spain, Germany, Ghana and other countries who represent the YBLN international platform have gathered in St. Petersburg.

The organizer of this event is the Kimchi Business Club, which for the second time in a row has been holding an incredible gathering of Korean leaders of a new generation. Also, the Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry provided great assistance in organizing this event.

On the eve of the forum, on April 19, a meeting of the UKBC  Coordinating Council was held, at which, by unanimous decision, the Wondon business club and the KBN business club from the Republic of Korea officially became members of UKBC. Today, 9 business clubs form the basis of the entrepreneurial platform. Vision 2020 - 20 business clubs and 1,000 members of this organization. Also, the question was discussed at the Corset who will fly the UKBC  flag next in 2019. On this issue, the main decision will be made in July at the next meeting of the Coordination Council, which will be held in Ukraine.

 

The official opening of the Forum took place on April 20 with an introductory speech from Sergey Lim - President of KBC. After that, Vasilyev Yu.M. addressed a congratulatory appeal to the participants - President of the Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce, Kim John Keng - President of the headquarters of KOTRA CIS, Tso Vasily  - President of the All-Russian Association of Koreans and other honored guests. The work of the first day consisted of separate sections with topics that interested the forum participants. The result of the first day was the signing of memoranda between the following participants:

  1. Headquarters of KOTRA CIS (President) - Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (President);
  2. UKBC  (President) - Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (President);
  3. UKBC  (President) - Association of Korean Entrepreneurs in China (President).

On April 21, the forum participants were pleased with the speakers with their interesting speeches:

Also, on this day, took place a presentation and discussion of business projects from UKBC  participants, after which was held a gala dinner with the presentation of memorable gifts.
